Easter Dinner is Served!

Mint-crusted leg of lamb. Roasted potatoes, fennel, carrots, leeks. Mint Sauternes jelly. Garlic, balsamic-glazed haricot verts. Green salad. Jumbo shrimp.

Easter Monday is a national holiday – bank holiday as they’re referred to in France. So no school today.

Taking advantage of the free day I am off to Dijon.

Dijon – besides known for mustard – is the capital of Burgundy. Home to palaces, museums, and a charming town center. With only the day, I'll need to hit the ground running.
