Flat Stanley Meet 'Mooshed M&M

As the Jeff Brown story of Flat Stanley goes, one night Stanley Lambchop was sleeping in his bed. In the middle of the night a bulletin board fell from the wall and flattened him. It wasn’t long before he was nicknamed, ‘Flat Stanley.’

Taking advantage of his new physical state, Stanley decided to visit his friends and experience life by being mailed in envelopes around the world. His flatness made this possible.

Flat Stanley is far too popular for me, but I do have my very own “flat” friends. They were neatly sealed in an envelope. Slipped into my suitcase. And were recently unpacked.

My friends, whom we’ll call, “‘Mooshed M&M’, or “M&M” for short, are ready to travel with me on my Paris – Le Cordon Bleu adventure.

‘Mooshed M&M (Marguerite and Martha) are some dear friends from home. They approached me with this idea a month prior to my departure and it sounded like a fun experience. As I travel, so will they, rolled up in my backpack.

Here M&M gaze out of my apartment window at La Tour Eiffel…

… Bienvenue à Paris
M&M!
