The bags are packed. Goodbyes said. Boarding pass printed. Tears shed.
This is the day that I left for Paris.
Thank you for reading thus far, but the adventure is just beginning!
By this time tomorrow I shall write to you from Paris.
Good bye and hello. Le Cordon Bleu here I come!!!

Yea!!! The adventure begins. Remember that we are here for you and supporting you.

Tony, parting today was both sad and happy. Sad that you are departing and happy (for you) of the adventure(s) to come.
ReplyDeleteTracy put it best: I'm sad for James because his husband will be away from him, but I'm also sad for Tony; not only because he has made my son so very happy, but also because he has become such an integral part of our family -- a truly wonderful young man whom we will miss dearly.
Tony, I echo Tracy's sentiments. For me it is similar to the grand kids: there was life before them (a life less lived) and then there was LIFE after they arrived (ah! now this is life). Tony, I view getting to know you the same way: pre-Tony life and after-Tony-arrived life. The latter is so much grander and sweeter.
Love, P.G.
