It was a slow start this morning.

I am not sure if it was my social afternoon/evening. Or all the exercise I got from walking around
Les Halles. Or getting drenched after dinner. Something made for a lack of motivation this morning.
For the second time I woke up to blue skies and sunshine, but even that wasn’t enough to get my gusto moving.
I did finally make it out to the market to pick up a few items for dinner.

Tonight’s menu? A baguette-free, meat-free, fat-free, vegetable packed meal. I haven’t seen a green vegetable on my plate since my last meal in the U.S. Tonight is broccoli, tomatoes, carrot, and onion. With a few 4-vegetable ravioli on the side – which include spinach.
(Oh, and by 'slow start' I mean; I woke up at my usual 7 a.m., vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom, scrubbed the countertop, folded laundry, ironed my uniform, showered, and studied some French…somehow it
felt like a 'slow start.')
